A burst water main in Motherwell has caused the water in the Forgewood area to stop, at present Scottish Water are repairing this burst water main.

Update on Service Provision and Forgewood Community Centre

Once again we are in the situation of lockdown due to the surge in Covid-19 cases and we are following Scottish Government Guidance in relation to this. The following information highlights how the Co-operative will deliver our services to tenants during the month of January 2021 and until we receive further guidance from the Scottish Government.

WINTER WEATHER – ROADS AND PATHS

The severe cold snap has provided the whole country with many challenges, particularly in areas where roads and footpaths are untreated. We wish to clarify that the responsibility of grit provision is with the Local Authority (North Lanarkshire Council). Their statement on the attached link as well as supported documentation should clarify their position.

Update on Service Provision and Forgewood Community Centre

From Boxing Day the whole of mainland Scotland will be in the country’s toughest tier of restrictions for at least three weeks moving from Tier 3 to Tier 4. Due to the festive holidays our normal office services will close on 24 December 2020 and re-open on 6 January 2021. Update on Service Provision and Forgewood Community Centre

We thank all of our tenants and customers for their patience and understanding while our office and community centre have remained closed due to Covid-19. This situation is constantly under review however, in light of recent changes resulting in North Lanarkshire moving to Tier 4 of the Scottish Government guidelines, staff are still required wherever possible, to work remotely to help tackle the epidemic particularly within our area.

Bulk Uplift - 5 November 2020

Due to the Co-operative not being able to provide skips for our tenants we have agreed to trial a company, Cameron Cleaning to go round our estates and uplift and dispose of bulk household items.
