The Co-operative is planning how it will continue to provide a service to our tenants should the Coronavirus affect our tenants, staff and our contractors who we use to carry out repairs or other work to tenant’s homes. We will follow the direction of Health Protection Scotland and you can download a copy of this https://www.hps.scot.nhs.uk/web-resources-container/covid-19-guidance-for-non-healthcare-settings/.
In the event of a staff member being in contact with anyone who has the virus the Co-operative will expect that staff member to self-isolate and to work from home.
In the event that there is a large proportion of staff affected we will close the office/centre to visitors and redirect telephones to staff mobiles to deliver our service remotely.
If our contractors have a similar issue, we will only undertake emergency appointments and non-emergency repairs will be suspended.
If a tenant has self-isolated or has tested positive to Coronavirus can you please advise the Co-operative so that we do not send any contractors or staff to your home until after the self-isolation period has ended.
Should a visitor to our office/centre display symptoms we will isolate them until such time as they can safely leave the premises. We will arrange a cleaning and disinfection of the areas they have been in with access refused to these areas until such time as this work has been undertaken.
